Vimar devices for the restyling of the MSC Armonia
The partnership between Vimar and MSC Cruises continues. The leader in the production of electrical materials and home&building automation systems has supplied its products for the Armonia, the first of four MSC cruise ships involved in the "Renaissance" refit and extension programme.
Plana series devices, controls and cover plates were chosen to make the ship's electrical system both functional and pleasing to the eye. The minimalist design, modern materials, wide range of colours, comprehensive functions and night-time backlighting of the elegant laser-engraved symbols make Vimar's residential series the ideal companion to ensure travel comfort and wellbeing.
Among the many innovations introduced on board the Armonia, there are now more cabins with a balcony, more spacious communal areas, more choice and flexibility in the catering services and new clubs for the younger guests. The MSC Armonia is also the world's first cruise ship with children's play areas designed, fitted out and officially approved by Chicco® and LEGO®.
These new features are in addition to the MSC Armonia's original fittings, including two outdoor pools, bars, restaurants and the Fenice Theatre.
