Vimar rides the waves with Costa Fascinosa
Departing from Venice the previous 6th of May for its maiden vernissage cruise, Costa Fascinosa is the new flagship of Costa Cruises.
This new ship, with its 114,500 tonnes and the capacity to accommodate 3,800 people in total, was designed in tribute to charm in all its forms. The ship in fact displays several references to iconic characters and places of charm and seduction. The interiors are inspired by the environments of the great films of the past, the actors and actresses who made them famous, and the shows that have brought success to the most famous theatres in the world.
Once again Costa Cruises has implemented the kind of focus that for over 60 years the company has placed on innovation and attention to quality, and on the satisfaction of its guests.
In a context such as this, where 'made in Italy' is expressed in its highest form, Vimar, that for more than 65 years has been at the forefront of Italian-made technological innovation and attention to the needs of consumers, could not have been overlooked.
On board Costa Fascinosa, the Plana series was in fact installed, symbolising the style and elegance that Italian design is famous for all over the world.
Chosen in the radiant sobriety of white polymer, Plana brings its innate natural style in the ship's various cabins and suites, perfectly integrated into the different environments in which it is installed.
Buttons, controls and sockets, also in delicate white, which improve safety and make it even more simple and pleasant to stay on board. All the sockets, for example, are equipped with Sicury protective shutters, preventing accidental contact with live parts, rendering them much safer for children and giving peace of mind to parents.
With this prestigious installation, Vimar therefore reconfirms its leadership in the field of electrical systems on board ships and yachts.
