Inaugurated in May 2009, the Costa Luminosa is the flagship of the Costa fleet, with an innovative design and the use of the finest materials, also boasting works of art of great value, such as Fernando Botero's sculpture overlooking the atrium of the ship.
The opportunities for fun, entertainment and relaxation on board are extraordinary and numerous, all with the most avant-garde technologies: from the 4D cinema to the roller-skating rink, from the golf simulator to the latest generation 3,500 m² wellness centre. Costa Luminosa offers 772 cabins with private balconies out of a total of 1,130, which is the highest percentage of cabins with private balconies in the Costa fleet: perfect for spectacular and beautiful itineraries, full of fun and relaxation.

Inside the stunning Costa Luminosa, Idea series equipment has been installed to ensure the highest levels of functionality and safety. Vimar Idea is synonymous with total freedom of choice: from the colour variations for buttons and controls, available in black and charcoal grey, to the two plaque models, Classica and Rondo. Fifty-two colours and four precious materials: metal, solid wood, polymer and silk.
