2025 Sustainability Report

Vimar is pleased to present the fourth edition of its 2025 Sustainability Report, a particularly significant milestone that coincides with the celebration of its 80-year history, defined by authentic values, a passion for innovation and an unwavering dedication to people, the local area and quality.

Throughout the year, the company further strengthened its commitment to sustainable development, integrating ESG principles into its overarching strategy in an increasingly structured and cross-functional manner. Built on clear, concrete, and measurable goals, this approach shapes long-term decisions and actions while consolidating a Sustainability Governance model capable of driving responsible growth and creating value for all stakeholders.

The evolution of this model is also reflected in the reporting methodologies adopted, including progressive alignment with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), with the aim of strengthening transparency and ESG management. Within this framework, particular focus is placed on measuring and managing climate impacts. Between 2024 and 2025, Vimar expanded its greenhouse gas emissions monitoring to cover all indirect Scope 3 emissions thereby completing its Organisational Carbon Footprint. This represents a crucial milestone, providing a more comprehensive and precise view of the impacts generated across the value chain and strengthening the company’s ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement increasingly effective initiatives.

Another prominent theme highlighted in the 2025 Sustainability Report is product quality and safety, which are fundamental to ensuring consumer protection and strengthening market competitiveness. Vimar has turned these factors into a strategic lever, by voluntarily certifying a vast portion of its product portfolio. To date, the company holds 465 active product conformity certificates, 73 of which were obtained in 2025.

In parallel, the commitment to the well-being of employees continues through ongoing investments in professional and personal growth initiatives, translating into in 34,600 hours of training delivered in 2025. This same care extends to the local area, where the company collaborates with schools and universities to foster skill development and cultivate young talent; a commitment reflected in new hires, with over half of new recruits being under the age of 30. The Report also highlights the company’s economic performance, reaffirming its financial strength and value creation for shareholders.

In summary, during 2025 Vimar further consolidated the integration of sustainability principles into its strategic decision-making, concentrating on the most material environmental, economic and social topics to guide future choices and initiatives. At the same time, the company maintained high waste management standards, directing 97% total waste to reclaiming and recycling, ahead of the targets set out in the 2030 Agenda for responsible resource consumption.
