Eight thousand lighting and switching points, all custom-engraved, for the data network, telephone connections and electrical system. Malpensa 2000 has chosen Idea from the outset, with Classica cover plates in turquoise and forest green that match the colours of Italy's national airline.
Since its opening in 2000, Milan's airport has continued to gain importance and is today a fully fledged hub, a strategic point of interchange for international flight connections.
Idea, with custom-engraved Classica cover plates, was chosen for the service, check-in and embarkation areas. With two-pole circuit breakers installed on all the power points, and RJ45 sockets used for the data network and ISDN-line telephone connection points.
