Vimar has been selected - along with its By-me home automation system - to take part in the “Italy of Innovators” initiative.
Promoted by the Ministry for Public Administration and Innovation in conjunction with the Commission of Italy for World Expo 2010, the “Italy of Innovators” initiative forms part of a programme of cultural, artistic, exhibition and seminar activities aimed at presenting Italian excellence.
The intention is to pick out and present, during the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the best examples of Italian innovation and technological excellence linked to the general theme of the World Expo - Better City, Better Life - on the quality of life in urban areas.
Of the more than 450 proposals submitted to the Ministry, the technological innovation presented by Vimar was chosen by the Technical Committee since it met the selection criteria:
The system will be presented inside the Italian Pavilion as part of a special theme show.
The By-me home automation system from Vimar will therefore demonstrate its potential to make daily life easier and more comfortable during a temporary show to be held from 24 July to 7 August 2010 in the Italy Pavilion.
