The G8, with the heads of state and government of the leading industrialised countries meeting in L'Aquila from 8 to 10 July, will be entirely held inside the Inspectors School of the Italian Financial Police in Coppito.
All of the world leaders will stay and work inside the barracks that has been restored for the occasion with the aim of offering the Big Eight decorous, but certainly not luxurious, hospitality, in line with the decision to hold a summit as essential, simple and as close to the hardships of the people of Abruzzo as possible.
The barracks facilities have been altered from a functional viewpoint, above all by intervening on the accommodations appointed to host the heads of state and government - with adaptation of the plumbing and electrical systems - and on the work areas that will host the conferences and meetings.
The L'Aquila G8 venue will be entirely made in Italy, from the furnishings to the electric cars with which the heads of state will travel in, up till the catering.
And in representing Made in Italy quality, Plana was a must. Here it was chosen in the white snow Reflex version.
