The By-me home automation system just keeps growing. The line is further enhanced with new interfaces for monitoring household appliances that make it even more intuitive and user-friendly
The diverse array of new interfaces includes:
New colour Touch Screen
The new 4.3" colour Touch Screen - configurable via the front panel using EasyTool 3.0 software and available for the Eikon and Plana series - makes it possible to monitor and control of all devices in the By-me system.
New monochrome Touch Screen
The new 3-module monochrome Touch screen is dedicated to single room control and monitoring.
Designed to monitor devices installed in individual rooms, it is configured using EasyTool 3.0 software and is available for the Eikon, Idea and Plana series.
New control devices with three push buttons.
The new devices with three push-buttons - available for the Eikon, Idea and Plana series either in the version with simple or rocker push buttons - can control up to six automation scenes from a single lighting control point.
For the Burglar Alarm system a new digital keypad is available - in addition to the transponder key - for activating and deactivating the entire system or individual areas by assigning differentiated 5-digit codes. Alongside the keypad, other devices are also available: mini infrared detectors, dual-technology detectors, contact interfaces which are also powered for doors and windows and a flush mounting battery-powered interior siren. For easier installation, both in terms of fitting and wiring, the new DIN rail back-up unit can be mounted in a switchboard together with the bracket which houses the batteries and power supply unit.
Front-panel programming via computer
For easy programming via computer, the flush mounting control unit now includes a connector on the front panel. Simply by linking up to a computer via USB interface and using the dedicated EasyTool 3.0 software (supplied with article 01998.S), it is possible to program a number of important system functions and even personalise the new Touch Screen units, without having to remove the device from the wall.
