Update release notes
This section contains the main new features introduced by the updated App version releases.
View Door for Android mobile – ver. 2.2.7 - June 30, 2025
- Compatibility with Android 15 introduced.
- A full-screen page for call notifications has been introduced, with the possibility of reverting to the pop-up notification (the “Call page notification” is set as default).
Select "Settings" / "Call notification settings":
- select "Call page" to display a full-screen page with the notifications (Fig.1);
- select "Text notification" to revert to the pop-up notifications (Fig.2).
N.B. The call page is displayed when the screen is locked or when the View Door App is open in the foreground; when the screen is unlocked and the App is not in the foreground, the ring alert is still displayed.
- Introduction of the of the link to the on-line guide by selecting “Settings” / “On-line Help".
- A page with the new features for each update has been introduced.

How do you configure “unrestricted” battery usage?
The following example illustrates the procedure for setting battery consumption to improve App responsiveness during calls.
N.B. The process was created using a Samsung A52; the steps may vary depending on the device used and the operating system version.
- From your device's Home screen, select “Settings” / “Applications”
- Select the "View Door" App / "Battery" and set "Unrestricted".
This mode allows background activity, so it is not necessary to restart the App upon receiving a subsequent call notification, speeding up response times.
Caution: This mode implies higher battery consumption.
