Key rings

Key rings

Individually displays the key rings configured and all the keys associated with each one. The name, status and validity period of the keys are displayed.

Adding keys
The "+" key at the top right allows you to add a new key ring by reading a QR code you will be sent by e-mail.
Press "+" to open the camera and scan the QR code you received; to confirm the addition of the key ring, you will need to enter the PIN provided in the e-mail.
Alternatively, if you open the e-mail directly on your smartphone, you can add the key by clicking on the link you received; the App will open and you will need to enter the PIN to confirm.

Status of the keys
The status is highlighted by a coloured indicator located underneath the icon of the key.
In the event of several key rings, the list is displayed by swiping left/right; the most recently added one is always displayed first. For each key ring, the name, number of associated keys and the validity period for the entire group are displayed.

The status indicator of a key can be four different colours depending on the validity period and the access rules.
• Green: key available (it is consistent with both the validity period of the key ring and the times set in the access rules)
• Yellow: key not available (it is consistent with the validity period of the key ring but not with the times set in the access rules)
• Red: key expired
• Grey: key not active yet (the validity period of the key ring has not been reached yet).
By selecting the key, you will display the details page with the validity period of the key and the access rules (days and times) of when that key is available.
The access rules refer to the time zone of the location of the facility; if the time set on the smartphone/tablet on which the App is installed is different (for instance if you are in Italy and the facility is abroad), the wording "Local facility time” will be present.
Note: If it is a holiday, only the access rules defined in the item “Holiday” apply.

Using keys
By selecting a key available for access, you will see a dedicated area at the bottom of the screen inviting you to approach the gate; when you are near, you will be able to access simply swiping the slider to the right.

Offline keys
These keys can also be used in the absence of connectivity when you are in front of a reader and they are marked with the symbol *.
In the presence of keys which can be used offline, a help message will be displayed, describing the function; this message can be disabled using the option “Don’t show again”.
This function is useful to access zones that are not covered by a Wi-Fi network or a GSM/LTE network, thereby guaranteeing a high standard of security for the user.
Example. The garage of a facility is located on level -3 where there is no network coverage. Before going down, while you are in an area with Internet connectivity, enable the offline keys to have 5 minutes’ time to open the garage.
N.B. Every time you press the "Timer" key with your phone connected to the network, the available time starts from 5 minutes again.

Keys nearby
This function allows you to speed up access by displaying the details of the nearest key without looking for it in the list of key rings.
• When the App opens, if a nearby gate is detected (with valid access rules and therefore green in colour) the details page of the key to use for opening is displayed directly.
• The subsequent gates detected in the vicinity are identified with the blue widget which is updated again by presenting the nearest gate. Select the widget to open the details page of the related key.
• Select the "X" key to interrupt the widget presentation until the next time the App is opened.
• The “Show keys when you are near” function is enabled following the App installation and it can be disabled from the Settings menu.

Archive

Displays all the key rings whose validity has expired and therefore that can no longer be used.
All the associated keys are displayed for each key ring.
The key rings can be deleted permanently using the "Bin” key.

Allows you to set the application usage options and specifically:
"Show keys when you are near" which allows you to speed up access to a room (see paragraph: Keys nearby).
"Remember the last key ring used" which, in the case of more than one key ring, displays the last one used when the App is opened. If this option is not enabled, the most recently added key ring is always presented.
"Enable push notifications" which allows the App to receive notifications.
