Vimar at Architect@Work Madrid

On 6^th and 7^th May, Vimar will be taking part in Architect@Work Madrid, the international benchmark event for architects and designers, which returns to energise the vibrant Spanish capital after two years. The theme for the 2026 edition will be “Decarbonizing Architecture”, a central topic for building a sustainable future. Through the reduction of carbon emissions throughout the entire life cycle of buildings, achieved by using low-impact materials, energy efficiency, passive design and the integration of renewable energy, architects are called upon to play a key role in the fight against climate change.

Within this landscape, Vimar seeks to contribute through smart solutions designed to make buildings more efficient and sustainable. Positioned as a technological partner of excellence, the company offers bespoke systems for automation, control, and monitoring at every stage of a project, while simultaneously ensuring completely matching styling across all visible devices. From the View Wireless connected system, to the By-me Plus home automation system, right through to the KNX Secure standard: the exhibition aims to explore the main application fields. Presented in international standards, the Linea series and its home automation soul - the XT platform, available for By-me Plus and KNX Secure - represent an approach to sustainability viewed as a strategic value for innovation. Ample space is dedicated to the design of the wiring series, featuring Eikon Exé, in its Traditional, Vintage, Flat and Tondo control versions - the latter having recently been awarded the prestigious Compasso d'Oro International Award and the iF Design Award. Special finishes and materials, countless colour combinations for both cover plates and buttons, customisable control symbols, and laser engraved logos are options for bespoke projects and a way of adding character to any environment. What’s more, the user experience design of the new 7” and 10” View Touch devices, recently honoured with an iF Design Award, is available in black or white with an ultra-slim thickness of just 8.5 mm. These devices ensure comprehensive supervision of all systems, ranging from View Wireless smart home solutions to By-me Plus home automation systems, alongside the integration of Elvox Video Door Entry systems, By-alarm Plus burglar alarm systems and Elvox CCTV video surveillance.

Architect@Work Madrid marks the first stop of Vimar’s 2026 tour, which will continue with editions in Warsaw in May, Vienna in September, and Milan in November.
