Vimar’s new View Touch devices clinch the international 2026 iF Design Award

Vimar reaffirms its position as a key player of the iF Design Award, the prestigious international competition established in 1953 in Hanover. Organised by iF International Forum Design GmbH, the awards celebrate excellence across various categories, including product, communication, packaging, architecture and professional concepts.

The user experience design of Vimar’s new View Touch devices, capable of providing comprehensive supervision of systems ranging from View Wireless smart homes to By-me Plus home automation systems, alongside the integration of Elvox Video Door Entry systems, By-alarm Plus burglar alarm systems and Elvox CCTV video surveillance, inspired the jury to select them as the best products in the "Product UX" category.

Available with a 7-inch and 10-inch display, in black and white, these devices are distinguished by an ultra-slim profile - just 8.5 mm. The front frame can also be customised upon request for perfectly matching styling and integration into any setting. In the new View Touch, a proximity sensor wakes up the display, switching it from energy-saving mode to an active operating mode, revealing the Favourites page, highlighting the functions used most frequently by the user. What’s more, the proximity and brightness sensors automatically adjust the display settings and feature an integrated notification LED that changes colour based on specific events: burglar alarm, technical alarm, load cut-off or missed video door entry call.

With clean, user-friendly widgets designed to make every interaction immediate, the new View Touch devices are far more than mere displays. As the smart heart of the home, they consolidate every essential control into a single interface, transforming the living space into a more efficient and smarter environment.
