Vimar secures the “Award for Best Business Practices”

On Thursday, 20th November 2025, at the Sicurezza trade fair, Vimar received the “Award for Best Business Practices”, promoted by Conflavoro PMI Varese and Secsolutionforum. This acknowledgement, in its inaugural edition, was established to give visibility to companies that distinguish themselves through innovative policies, attention to people, and the ability to create value beyond the product. The objective is to foster constructive dialogue between the associative world, technology, and innovation, addressing topics such as safety, development, training, and corporate responsibility.

In this context, a jury chaired by Giuseppe Ligotti, President of Conflavoro PMI Varese and Regional Coordinator of Conflavoro Lombardia, presented Vimar with the award for its commitment to people and society, highlighting in particular the “Training Programmes” launched by the company. The success of our products and services is a result of the professionalism, know-how, and passion of our employees. With this awareness, we promote a work environment that develops skills, encourages well-being, and stimulates growth. In 2024, 35,400 hours of training were provided, an 8% increase compared to 2023. In addition to compulsory training, the training schemes ranged from technical skills to work-related and managerial skills, or soft skills. Particular attention was devoted to health and safety: 38% of the hours focused on environmental and safety matters. Corporate welfare completes this vision: supplementary health care for the entire family unit, special pricing agreements with nurseries, summer camps, and scholarships for employees’ children. Sustainability, an integral part of the Vimar business model, is also among the best practices recognised. In 2024, the percentage of waste sent for reclaiming and recycling reached 97%, with three out of four plants achieving 100%. Lastly, innovation is at the core of the company’s strategy: 8.7% of annual turnover is invested in Research and Development for new products and technologies, in partnership with leading Italian universities. In addition to internal projects, extensive support is given to the training of young talent through initiatives with schools and universities, confirming our commitment to the community.

Thanks to the “Award for Best Business Practices”, Vimar is once again confirmed as a company that invests in its people, training, innovation, and sustainability, creating value that goes beyond the product.
