By supporting the In Arch 2020 Award, Vimar, as attentive as ever to the needs of architects and the trends of modern living, wanted to offer further encouragement to professionals to conceive electrical and Home and Building automation systems as an integral part of the architectural design, and not as extras to be added later on.
Vimar has always supported the architect, the figure who becomes the linchpin of the design processes - including those of the electrical and home automation systems - by launching a dialogue with all the players involved in the production chain, from the electrical engineer to the principal. The objective is to create a fully comprehensive design, in which all requirements, including those of the systems, are matched with the best solutions.
And in fact, the winning project was chosen both for its architectural and structural choices, and for the fact that it was conceived, starting from the design phase, with the objective of achieving high standards of energy efficiency and comfort. An objective that was fulfilled also thanks to the Vimar Building Automation system, combined with the design of the Eikon Evo cover plates which, with their distinctive geometrical lines and exquisite materials, perfectly complement the architectural context of this elegant home, also offering the owners the possibility of controlling it remotely via smartphone.
