Vimar proves itself as an ambassador for the Made in Italy design, winning the Archiproducts Design Award 2019 with Vintage controls for Eikon Exé. This award, at its fourth edition, aims to celebrate international design excellence.
An international jury of 40 Architecture studios, Designers, Photographers, Editors and Art Directors has evaluated each product, rewarding the quality of the design and the aesthetic.
Originality, willing of renovation, innovative materials, and formal experimentation: these are some aspects taken into consideration by the jury members. They also evaluated the balanced connection between functionality and beauty, together with the ability to interact with the surrounding space with strong emotional power. Vintage controls meet all requirements; thus, they win the award.
Vintage controls come up from the essentiality of Eikon Exé cover plates. They embrace fascinating lines of the past and restyle them with a modern twist, providing an exclusive and slightly retro style.
Made of metal, they are available in various finishes: Matt White, Anthracite Grey, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Dark Bronze and Gold. Combined with the Eikon Exé cover plate in the same finish, they offer a matching style, refined yet at the same time neat and linear.
