An early 20th-century residence where elegance meets innovation

The harmony of proportions

The façade preserves the charm of its origins, entrusting its identity to a balanced and perfectly symmetrical composition. The openings, arranged with rigorous harmony, guide the eye towards the centre of the composition, emphasised by the monumental entrance and the two-light mullioned window above. Volumes, mouldings and refined decorative details emerge discreetly from the elegant light grey plaster, enhancing the compositional rhythm of the elevation and the refinement of its architectural elements. A dialogue between forms and proportions that asserts itself as the guiding design principle of the project designed by Atelier Avanzi, creating, through a contemporary language, a fluid connection between the architectural envelope and interior design. Spanning two storeys above the ground and a mansard attic, the interior spaces pair the purity of white and the shades of pearl grey with the timeless warmth of the wooden floor, enhanced by the herringbone laying pattern.

An advanced technological experience

A balance of elegance, comfort and functionality that finds natural continuity in the integrated Vimar technological solutions: the By-me Plus home automation system with Linea’s innovative XT platform becomes a unique “eXperience Technology” for the complete management of the home - from lighting to roller shutter automation, from climate control to energy consumption monitoring - guaranteeing operational reliability in the event of any network issues, while promoting a more efficient, mindful use of energy, which can also be managed remotely via the View App. Controls featuring a flat design, extending across the entire surface and activated anywhere on the surface; highly ergonomic feedback based on microswitch technology and dynamic and customisable LED matrix icons; proximity sensor for icon activation as the hand approaches. The XT platform, chosen here in white, perfectly matches the modular Linea devices and guarantees extensive scalability and expandability of functions without any additional wiring work.

A single control centre for the home

The By-me Plus home automation system integrates with the security system, which combines By-alarm Plus burglar alarm system and Elvox CCTV video surveillance, complete with Bullet cameras to monitor the surrounding spaces. Positioned outside, the Roxie video entrance panel, with an access control function, contributes to the security of the building, thanks to a camera that ensures sharp colour images and a wide and detailed field of view. The overall supervision of the systems ultimately converges in the new View Touch devices, chosen in the white version, with 10” displays. A single control device with a simple layout, featuring clear and user-friendly widgets designed to simplify every daily action. And to guarantee reliable connections and high performance, the Netsafe structured wiring system creates an advanced network infrastructure, ready to integrate all the systems of the residence simply and effectively.

A discreet yet decisive technological presence, that of Vimar, capable of engaging with the historical character of the building and enriching it with new functions, in the spirit of a modernity that does not erase the past but celebrates its design legacy.

Linea with XT platform

Vimar continues to take great strides in the home automation system and technological fields: in fact, as of today the brand has put to market Linea with XT platform, the evolution of the wiring series launched in October 2022; the XT platform is its home automation system soul on By-me Plus technology, distinguished by dynamism and scalability that make it truly unique.
